Here’s the honest version, because that’s the whole point of this site: Cuttles makes money when you buy the gear I recommend. Not from the brands, not from sponsorships: from small commissions on the links, paid by the retailer, at no extra cost to you.

How Cuttles earns

When you click a link to Amazon (or another store) from one of my guides and buy something, I earn a small percentage of the sale. The price you pay is exactly the same as if you’d gone to Amazon directly: the commission comes out of the retailer’s margin, never your pocket.

As an Amazon Associate, Cuttles earns from qualifying purchases. I also participate in other retailer affiliate programs from time to time, and the same rules apply to all of them.

How it affects what I recommend, it doesn’t

This is the part that matters. A commission never buys a spot on a list. I rank products on what they actually are: build quality, warranty, real owner reviews, and whether the thing is genuinely sold and in stock. If the best pick in a category pays me nothing, it still goes at the top. If a product I’d earn well on has a bad track record, I say so: you’ll see me flag shipping-damage complaints, refurbished listings dressed up as new, and specs that don’t hold up.

Brands can’t pay to be included, can’t send me free gear to sway a review, and can’t see a guide before it’s published. If that ever changes, this page changes with it.

Prices and availability

Amazon prices move constantly. Where I show a price, it was accurate when I last checked, but always confirm the current figure on the product page before buying. If something’s out of stock or the listing has changed, click through for the live version.
