How AI Rewrite and AI Polish work

Updated October 12, 2026

Cuttles can help with the wording of your pitch and plan. It works on your own text: you write first, then the buttons improve what you wrote. They never write a field from scratch and never change your budgets.

The two buttons

  • AI Rewrite this rewrites and expands your text: clearer structure, fuller sentences. It keeps your facts, numbers and names. Where a number is missing, it adds a placeholder in [square brackets] for you to fill in, instead of making one up.
  • AI Polish is a light edit: better wording and grammar, same structure, nothing added.

Each field gets one AI Rewrite and one AI Polish. After you've used one, its button shows Used.

Accept, discard or revert

The suggestion appears in a box under the field with Accept and Discard. Nothing changes until you click Accept.

After accepting, Revert to my text brings back exactly what you had written before. It stays available until you edit the field yourself.

Write first

The buttons unlock once there's enough of your own text in the field:

FieldYour own words first
One-line pitchabout 8 words
Pitch fieldsabout 30 words
Plan sectionsabout 60 words
SWOT boxesabout 15 words

If you click too early, a note tells you how many more words to write.

Unlocking writing help for a startup

The first time, writing help is locked for the whole startup until you've written about 30 words yourself in 3 pitch fields. Then Cuttles asks a few short questions about your idea, customers, problem and solution (pre-filled from your pitch). You answer them once per startup; Edit your answers lets you change them later.

Where the buttons are

Pitch fields (including the one-line pitch), text sections in the business plan, and the four SWOT boxes. Not on budgets, dropdowns, personas, competitors, roadmap or team.

The text is written in the language you wrote in. Read every suggestion before you accept it: you're responsible for what goes into your plan.
