How Cuttles works: pitch, plan, budgets and team

Updated September 28, 2026

Cuttles is business plan software for early-stage founders. Everything you write belongs to a startup, and each startup has four steps. The step bar at the top of every page shows where you are.

The four steps

  1. Pitch. A one-page overview: the problem, your solution, market, business model, customers, channels, competitors, team and traction, plus a few dropdowns (stage, industry, country, market size). Start here. The pitch feeds the rest of the plan.
  2. Business plan. 13 sections, from Concept to Traction. Each section has short guidance and an example, so you're never looking at a blank page.
  3. Budgets. Enter expenses, revenue and capital month by month. Cuttles calculates burn rate, runway, break-even and cash balance, and draws the charts that go into the Financials section of your plan.
  4. Team. The people behind the startup, shown in the plan and in the team PDF.

Everything saves as you go

There's no save button in the pitch and plan editors. The "Last saved" line at the top of the page shows when your last change was stored.

When you're done

Share each page with a link, or download the pitch, plan or team as a PDF. See Share your pitch, plan or team with a link and Download a PDF.
